The best day I've ever had.

This was a drafted post from November last year, I thought I would share it because I still look back on this day as the best day of my life.

I'm loving where I am right now.
I love my age, my friends, my family, the way I look, the way I feel, the fun I'm having and my beautiful home town.

I'm visiting Byron Bay at the moment.
And yesterday was one of the most perfect days I've had in a long time!

I met up with a new friend, and had a lovely day hanging out and chatting about nothing and everything.
We walked to the lighthouse (with no shoes! ouch!) hung out at the most easterly point, and had a dip in Little Wategoes Beach and a beer at the Beach Hotel.

The beach yesterday was the most beautiful I had seen it in a long time!

Last night I saw The Grates play at the Great Northern Hotel, with my best friends.
(Perfect girls night out)

As expected, The Grates were amazing! I've seen them play a few times, and they never disappoint me.
Fifty percent of what they played was from their very first album, one I listened to in school. Everyone loves some vintage right?
Hats off to Patience for absolutely owning the teeny tiny Backroom stage!
That girl was made for performing, she puts every inch of energy she possesses into jumping around and putting on a show.
The way it should be.

Then, to top it off, my best friend Meredith and I ran into her out the back of The Northern, and she told me she thought my hair looked like a mermaids hair.
Winner!

Best day of my life to date.
And it was so simple.

Lesson learned.
